The basis of the cake that is to be 'iced' with bogong moths, cairns birdwing butterflies and ulysses butterflies.
The base cake and slice use acrylic felt, while the mothy icing uses handmade nuno felt using alpaca fleece, angora and silk fibres on to chiffon or muslin cloth.
